TLC Home Watch CT Is an insured bonded and accredited professional home watch service servicing 7 of the 8 counties in Connecticut (we do not service Fairfield County). Recheck your property and identify problems and potential problems that can occur while your property is vacant. We provide a physical presence that it’s unavailable through our remote alarm monitoring service we can help with most requests you have by contacting us directly. TLC Home Watch CT Is not a house sitting service. Our core service includes periodic visits to your home where we follow a specific and mutually agreed upon checklist. We are in your home for about an hour per visit. We take great pride that you will find your home as you left it upon your return. A house sitter is not looking to be a caretaker and generally do not have the expertise or knowledge to handle any problems that may arise.

An alarm company may monitor entry into your home or a fire alarm but will not monitor potential problems due to broken pipes mold insects rodents vermin or squatters. We will identify those problems or the possibility of their occurrence and notify you for guidance and recommendations.

TLC Home Watch CT Will send you a detailed report by e-mail with photographs of any issues identified following our inspection of the interior and exterior of your home.

TLC Home Watch CT will send you a report upon completion of our visit to your home. Any problems identified will be accompanied by pictures and details of the problem. If we do take any urgent action to prevent further damage we will contact you immediately to discuss what occurred and consider what course of action is required for the repair.

We will perform a visual inspection but we are not Home Inspectors. “Home inspections” are usually involved at the sale of a property providing a detailed inspection of the structure plumbing electrical system heating and air conditioning systems, etc. We provide a visual inspection of your home or property looking for obvious issues.

TLC Home Watch CT proudly displays the banner of the National Home Watch Association. We have been vetted and approved by this organization to verify that we are bonded and insured for your protection. Subscribe to the National Home Watch Association’s Code of Ethics. This is one of our most frequent home watch FAQ’s.  You should be asking this of anyone you are discussing home watch services.

Most neighborhood watch programs are passive by nature and will not provide the level of engagement with your property that TLC Home Watch CT can provide. We will check your property’s interior and exterior in far more detail than you expect from a neighborhood watch program.

TLC Home Watch CT can provide a key holder service. We can coordinate access to your property for any situation at an hourly rate. All we require is your notification of the date and time and any instructions you may have.

TLC Home Watch CT can’t provide access services and remain on site for an hourly charge. We ask for at least 48 hours notification to schedule our personnel. We can also refer you to our network of professional contractors.

While we do not directly provide home maintenance services we can refer you to a network of qualified contractors and vendors and will coordinate access to your property.

Our services are reasonably priced for the value we provide. When you compare the possible damage due to a leak or damage by pests or vagrants, our services are an excellent value.
